- Remove protective plastic and any debris from the Column.
- Install the thread reducer into a vertical port on the machine using a thread sealer. Tighten with a wrench.
- Install the Column into the thread reducer using a thread sealer compatible with Tritan. Grip Column surface with hands or a strapping wrench. DO NOT USE a wrench or pliers on the Column surface. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- Slide the Level Rings onto the Column and tighten using the supplised hex key. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- Install the Breather or Vent Tube Kit at the top of the Column. The end of the Vent Tube Kit is designed to be attached directly to a desiccant breather at the machine's breather port location.

Vent Tube Kit
The Vent Tube Kit allows you to hook the Column up directly to a desiccant breather.
This is the option we recommend for most Column installations.

Easy Oil Viewing
The Luneta Column has a wide diameter, which gives an excellent view of the oil.
The Column's shape allows you to keep an eye on your machine's oil level at all points in time.

Tritan is an incredible material, it simply does not crack or break under field conditions.
The Column is made entirely of Tritan giving a crystal clear view of the lubricant inside.

The Silicone Cap is an excellent addition to the Breather option.
It will prevent water and debris from collecting on top of the breather and causing congestion.

These tamper proof rings allow you to monitor your machines lubrication levels at both idle running conditions.
They are made of a high strength nylon which prevents them from moving around accidentally.

Where should I install the Column?
The column should be installed below the oil level. Ideally at or near the drain port.
At what length should I add support to the Column?
We recommend adding support to any column longer than 18”.
Does the Column come in different diameters?
The Column is only available in 1” diameter.
Why should I use a silicone cover?
We recommend using a silicone cover over the breather to prevent particulate and water build-up on top. While they cannot make it through the 3 micron screen, any dust, dirt, or water that lands on top will prevent your Column from breathing properly. The silicone cap is specially made to mitigate this issue.
